Law and Organizational Studies for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion.
Welcome to the page dedicated to ordinary students in Law and Organizational Studies for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion (LOSPD) at Southern High School (SSM), where you can take courses in Private Law and Business Organization.
The regular course in “Law and Organizational Studies for the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion” consists of a parallel track to the bachelor’s, master’s (Economics) and five-year single-cycle (Law) degree studies, through the delivery of courses in Private Law and Business Organization, with a drop point on the issue of disability, which is of increasing interest in the promotion of diversity as a fundamental value of a plural and inclusive society.
Attention is therefore given not only to material needs, but also to existential, relational, emotional and educational needs, so that an individualized path to independent living can be developed, valuing and protecting the role of families and caregivers. Particular attention in this regard will be paid to the role of the arts (theater, music, performing art, etc.) in the construction of perception as a diriment criterion of the processes of construction of individual and organizational subjectivity along the paths of civilization processes.
The study method assumes a learning process articulated as follows:
- vertical, in-depth and intra-disciplinary approach, as specialization is a source of competitive advantage in academic training processes
- horizontal, with inter-disciplinary work, as issues of inclusion, from a sustainable and long-term perspective, in themselves cover multiple domains of knowledge, inside and outside academic walls.
The course thus intersects the pillars of [cono]human and social sciences with some strategic issues for the affirmation of conscious and responsible organizational citizenship.
Those interested in internalizing and making their own this approach geared toward understanding the fundamentals of living together, co-habitation and “togetherness,” can apply to join us.
Each year, the Southern High School holds an open competition for admission to the Ordinary Course, which is open to people from all over the world under 21 years of age who are enrolling in a bachelor’s degree program or a single-cycle degree program and under 25 years of age who are enrolling in a master’s degree program.

You will find the latest notice and previous notices on this page. The next announcement is scheduled to open in August 2022.
People who will take the Ordinary Course in Law and Organizational Studies for People with Disabilities are required to attend and take the final exams of three SSM courses for each a.y.: two from their own disciplinary area and the third one chosen from those organized by another disciplinary area. At the end of each course they will produce a paper that will be evaluated by the instructor.
Ordinary students enrolled in the LOSPD area are required to take the courses offered to doctoral students: both the work conducted in the classroom and the work on the literature selected for individual study, as well as the final evaluation processes will be differentially calibrated, calibrating the educational offerings appropriately and consonantly to the time of life and academic training traversed by the different types of students. Maximum attention will therefore be paid by LOSPD Area teachers to the construction of dedicated and constantly shared training paths with each learner.
To confirm their affiliation with the School, ordinary students must at the end of each year pass all exams for the academic year of their degree program at the Federico II and “internal” courses at SSM by September 30 and maintain an average (weighted) exam grade point average for all courses of 27/30, without ever achieving grades lower than 24/30.
A transition interview is scheduled at the end of September
The courses provided by LOSPD are in Private Law and Business Organization: holding these two disciplinary areas together – foundational constructs in Law and Business Studies, respectively – means acquiring the fundamentals on the dynamics of the functioning of social structures, co-habitation, civil coexistence and “being-together,” enabling students to make their own the necessary foundations for actively contributing to the realization of an inclusive society that knows how to recognize the Person in his or her uniqueness and multidimensionality, in cooperation with “the other.”
Learners will be accompanied by faculty members throughout their training, with attention to balancing basic education with the activities offered by SSM, ensuring personalized and consistent mentoring and guidance over time.
